Tyson aka “baddest man on the planet” opens as underdog.

Among oddsmakers, there’s little debate about who’s the favorite to win the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight.

Their pick is not Tyson.

Paul, 27, has emerged as a solid favorite over Tyson, 57, with five sportsbooks that have posted odds for the sanctioned pro heavyweight fight set for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“It’s all about age,’’ said Johnny Avello, the top oddsmaker for DraftKings. “Who steps in the ring at 57 years old?’’

Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul odds:

  • BetMGM: Jake Paul -185; Mike Tyson +130

  • BetOnline: Jake Paul -260; Mike Tyson +200

  • DraftKings: Jake Paul -180; Mike Tyson +135

  • FanDuel: Jake Paul -172; Mike Tyson +180

  • Westgate SuperBook: Jake Paul -250; Mike Tyson +200

Whilst one of the all-time greats of the sport, there is no escaping the fact that Tyson is nearing his 60th birthday, and as such he has been encouraged not to engage with a possible exhibition bout with Jake Paul.

Shelly Finkel worked with Tyson as his manager until he retired from the sport in 2005, urged Tyson not to fight.

"I don't like it," Finkel says.

$10 turned into $192K

Instagram user @vinndacunnto took to social media just 5 days ago after hitting a record-setting parlay. He turned just $10 into over $192k on a seven-pick parlay (pictured above).

This bettor received mixed reactions online with some stating “that’s such a fake slip” and “I think these are placed by Fanduel employees”.

Regardless of the reactions, this is an incredible win.

THE FALL OF AMATEUR SPORTS

Direct athlete-compensation model.

College leaders and lawyers, in negotiations now for months, are closer to arriving at an agreement and usher into the sport a new model that features sharing revenue with athletes.

What’s the potential settlement?

(1) Compensation owed to college athletes for universities using their name, image and likeness in broadcasts.

(2) A future compensation model featuring revenue sharing with athletes.

The compensation model are expecting to share as much as $15-20 million per school, with a spending limit similar to a professional sports team’s salary cap.

What’s your stance on the proposed model? Are you for or against college athletes getting paid? Reply to this email and let us know.
