MICHIGAN UPSET

“I feel like we let the whole Buckeye nation down.”

Dominic Zvada’s 21-yard field goal with 45 seconds left lifted Michigan to a shocking 13-10 victory over No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday, ending the Buckeyes’ hopes of a Big Ten title.

Kalel Mullings set up the decisive kick with a 27-yard run, moving the Wolverines (7-5, 5-4) to Ohio State’s 17-yard line.

After the drive stalled, Zvada delivered the game-winner. Ohio State (10-2, 7-2, No. 2 CFP) had a chance to respond, but Will Howard’s fourth-down incompletion sealed Michigan’s fourth straight rivalry win.

“You come to Michigan to play this game,” Zvada said. “To come in here and take the win, it’s amazing.”

The loss was especially tough for Ohio State, as Michigan was unranked and missing key players like tight end Colston Loveland and cornerback Will Johnson.

Despite being 21-point favorites, the Buckeyes struggled offensively.

Howard completed 19 of 33 passes for 175 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, and Ohio State’s run game was virtually nonexistent.

Kicker Jayden Fielding missed two field goals.

“It’s hard, man,” Howard said. “I really don’t have much right now. I do know we’re a two-loss team, we’re going to get into the playoffs and make a run. But, I mean, this one hurts.”

Mullings was Michigan’s offensive leader, rushing for 116 yards and their lone touchdown. His dominance set the tone for a low-scoring affair where both teams struggled to find rhythm.

“They made plays, we made plays, so as the game wore on you could feel them starting to lose confidence and faith,” Mullings said.

After the game, a chaotic scene unfolded when Michigan players tried to plant their flag at midfield, leading to a confrontation with Ohio State players.

Police had to use pepper spray to break up the brawl.

JOE ROGAN GAMBLING COACH

“I need to get in touch with Drake and talk about his fight picks,” Rogan said.

Joe Rogan, the world’s most popular podcaster, has some advice for Drake when it comes to betting on sports, especially boxing and MMA.

During a recent episode, Rogan shared his thoughts on Drake’s hit-or-miss gambling record.

“I need to get in touch with Drake and talk about his fight picks,” Rogan said. “That guy loses more money on fights… I feel like I need to call him up.”

Gotta admit, when you start a sentence with I need to get in touch with Drake, and you’re kinda serious, then you already won.

Although Rogan’s producer reminded him of some of Drake’s big wins—like his nearly $500,000 bet on Jon Jones defeating Stipe Miocic at UFC 309—Rogan wasn’t impressed.

“That’s what I would have picked anyway,” he responded. “It was an easy bet.”

Drake’s gambling record is as unpredictable as his chart-topping hits. In 2022, he lost a whopping $2 million betting on Israel Adesanya.

This year, he took another hit, losing $355,000 after Mike Tyson’s surprising loss to Jake Paul.

However, not all of his bets have gone south. Earlier in 2023, Drake scored a $1 million payday when Alex Pereira defeated Jamahal Hill in a UFC title fight.

Back in 2022, he landed an even bigger win, taking home $3.7 million after successfully predicting victories for Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann at UFC London.

MONSTER PARLAY

“This is the type of Parlay every sports gambler dreams of hitting.”

“I’m retiring, folks”

The words this Reddit user attached with his monstrous $12 to win $43,692.00 parlay featuring Tyreek Hill Anytime TD and a correct score bet on Arizona State vs. New Mexico.

Two questions immediately come to mind when looking at something like this:

  • “Who thinks of parlaying these selections?”

  • “Is this even real?”

But to answer the second question - it must be real.
